COLLECTED SHAVINGS
Please call us. You can ONLY collect from the Ashford and Bath depots, any quantities can be collected, however please check availability by phoning ahead on 0800 408 2234. Shavings are £6 + VAT per bale.
DELIVERED SHAVINGS
Minimum delivery quantity is 36 bales (Minimum is 36 bales - 1 pallet) each bale weighing on average between 18-22kg. We can only deliver in pallet loads due to weight and stability on delivery vehicles.
We will only deliver to the following counties, Berkshire, East Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, West Sussex
Additional delivery charges may be added to your order. We can deliver 16 pallets at a time to other counties. Please call us to discuss.

Why Buy Jacksons Shavings?
Joints, hooves, and rest are all improved with good quality shavings. Jacksons shavings are all created as a direct result of our manufacturing processes. We carefully select our timber from high quality, responsibly managed sources. Consequently, our shavings are large flakes of high quality pine, which has been kiln dried and planed, creating fresh pine shavings which are baled immediately.
Dust
While our shavings are not strictly dust-extracted, they contain minimal dust due to our advanced cutting techniques. Unlike conventional methods, our cutting machines minimise dust generation, with any residual dust collected separately in bags. This approach provides a cleaner, premium shavings product.
Ammonia
Our shavings are larger pieces, which provide a deeper and more aerated bed and therefore allows better drainage. Providing high quality bedding materials such as large flake pine shavings like ours reduces excess levels of ammonia. This is in addition to frequent cleaning.
Hygiene
Pine has unique antibacterial properties, helping to reduce harmful bacteria. Our shavings are a direct result of our manufacturing processes, using fresh timber that has been kiln dried to remove excess moisture; shavings are completely dry and made from fresh pine.
