The demand for garden/home improvement products has surged across the entire sector during Covid-19 as people adjust to spending more time at home and look for ways to keep busy. With restrictions on travel still in place, the demand is not showing signs of slowing.

Due to the extraordinary times, we have seen our stock levels quickly deplete as we try to keep up with the rising demand, so our lead times continue to be longer as we work to replenish our range of products. What does that mean for you? You may have to wait a little longer for your order to be delivered.

Our whole supply chain has been, and continues to be affected by the pandemic: from sourcing timber, to social distancing measures impacting the size of our workforce, to the way our drivers deliver to your door.

Why has this happened? At Jacksons Fencing during the quieter winter months, we stock pile a lot of product lines including popular panels, based on trends and demand for the upcoming season. However, during these unprecedented times we have all but depleted our stock, which means lead times have extended on certain products. We are working hard to safely keep up with demand in line with government advice, but our panels are crafted by hand and are made to a very high standard. The strict processes we put into  place to build our products cannot be rushed, as we will not reduce the quality of our offering.

One of our most popular panels, Canterbury Combi panels currently has the lowest lead time which is approximately two weeks. The panels offer both privacy and sleek design as a hybrid of both Tongue and Groove and Venetian creating the perfect fence for urban gardens.
