About the panel

Our handcrafted Venetian style fence panels are constructed using planed timber slats for a premium finish. This contemporary style fence is one of our most popular designs, as its simple yet modern characteristics are favoured by garden designers.

The panel is built within a framed system to perfectly align each individual horizontal pale. Great for allowing light into the garden and for creating attractive light effects as the sun moves across the sky.

The benefits of Venetian fence panels go beyond improving light: shorter panels can be used as a topper panel to add extra height and privacy for existing fences and walls. Full height slatted venetian panels are a popular screening panel that create more privacy, support climbing plants or help hide unsightly garden items such as bins.

Panel Specification

• Panels are 1830mm wide as standard
• Horizontal rails 45mm high x 15mm wide
• Vertical bracing uprights 68mm wide x 19mm
• Gap between horizontal rails is 15mm on all panels apart from 610mm (2ft) high panel which has 17mm spacing between each pale
• Pale spacing is smaller than standard Venetian Hit and Miss, therefore the panels do not match
• Vertical bracing uprights 68mm wide x 19mm

To meet the conditions of the 25 year guarantee, gravel boards are required where panels are in contact with the ground.

Reducing the width of the fence panel – All fence panel are 1.83m wide as standard, if you require a narrower fence panel, you can cut the fence panel down on site using our cut down kit. Please remember to treat any cut ends with Jakcure Cut Treatment, to ensure you adhere to our 25-year guarantee guidelines.

Recommended Fixings

We recommend using 6 screws per panel or 12 per panel if using capping rails plus an additional 4 per gravel board. 60mm, stainless steel, self-drilling countersunk screws are available in packs of 100 or 200 to secure panels to posts. Panels should be screwed to the posts to secure the fence run.

If you require a non standard width panel e.g. to complete your fence run you would need 5 ½ panels, add a cut down kit to your basket in order to be able to cut the panel to the required size. Alternatively, please give us a call to speak to us about ordering a bespoke panel.
